We are dedicated to creating a secure and supportive environment where individuals can gather to be acknowledged and empowered on their personal journeys. Together, we are constructing something of significance.
We offer a variety of programs designed to foster empowerment, connection, and growth through meaningful experiences that resonate with individuals. Together, we are creating opportunities for lasting change.
At the heart of our work is the transformation of individuals whose lives have been impacted by trauma, helping them reclaim hope, purpose, and a renewed sense of self. Together, we are building pathways toward healing and freedom.
Our design is not meant for solitude, but for connection. We advocate for a community that not only provides support but also holds you responsible, upholding the values we believe in, and assists you in becoming the best version of yourself.
01. Community
Engaging with nature enables us to establish a connection with our surroundings, and research has demonstrated its positive effects on us. Discovering opportunities to develop and enhance our abilities through this connection can alter our perspective. By concentrating on activities and groups, we become more confident in managing the thoughts that restrain us.
02. empowerment
We understand that trauma affects everyone differently and we are here to support you throughout your healing process. Our approach is based on faith and focuses on healing from within. As we begin to transform, we uncover our authentic potential and purpose.
03. Transformation
Empower yourself through education by learning new skills and improving existing ones in your program areas of focus. As lifelong learners, we continue to grow and develop as individuals.
04. education
We do our part to support conservation through managing our resources and supporting the North American Model of Wildlife Conservation. Also, by showing our support for organizations that fight for the healthy conservation of our environments and wildlife.
05. Conservation
Our reality is shaped by how we see the world. While we are not blind to the darkness that lives in the world. We choose to fight it through being givers of light. We choose to "BE THE LIGHT". As John 1:5 states, " The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not overcome it."
06. be the light
The future of The Light Ranch is a permanent place dedicated to healing, connection, and restoration. Our vision is to establish a property that will host programs, events, and community gatherings while creating opportunities to support survivors of human trafficking and others overcoming trauma.
We're building this one step at a time, and we can't do it alone. Whether through donating, volunteering, partnering, or simply sharing our mission, every person who joins us becomes part of the story.
If this vision resonates with you, we'd love to have you alongside us as we build what's next.
I didn’t start The Light Ranch because I had everything figured out. I started it because I’ve lived long enough to know what it feels like to need a place to breathe again.
A place where you’re not performing.
Where you’re not rushed through your healing.
Where you can show up as you are—heavy days, hopeful days, and everything in between.
For me, being outside has always been one of the most grounding places to hear God clearly again. Somewhere between open sky and quiet moments, things start to settle. Perspective shifts. The noise softens. And slowly, you remember who you are.
That’s what I want this place to offer others.
The Light Ranch exists to create space for people walking through transition, grief, burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from themselves. Through time in nature, simple outdoor experiences, and intentional community, we come alongside people as they rebuild—gently, honestly, and without pressure to rush the process.
This isn’t about fixing people. It’s about walking with them.
It’s about reminding each other that healing doesn’t have to be loud to be real. And that even in the hardest seasons, God is still near and still working.
I’m grateful you’re here. Truly. And I hope something about this place helps you feel a little more like yourself again.
