Week 4: You Never Know How God will use You until You let Him

Read 1 Peter 3:15

How are we to set apart from Christ?

What does it mean for Him to be Lord?

Lord over what in our lives?

Read Jeremiah 12:2. Describe the person being referred to in this verse.

Where are we apart Christ?

Read Jeremiah 11:7-8. What does it mean to have a stubborn heart?

Read Proverbs 13:25 and write the word that describes the condition of the heart of those who live to make right choices that honor God.

Read Psalm 84. Look at verse 1-2 and verse 10. This is a person who has deecided to chase not after the world's emptiness but rather God's fullness. The more you are satisfied with God, the more you crace to spend time with Him. Have you ever felt as thought your time with the Lord is empty and simply done as another thing to check off your never-ending chore list?

Write a prayer asking God to make your time with Him more meaningful. Ask God to give you a deeper desire for Him.

Read Psalm 84:4 What is a common characteristic for those abiding with the Lord?

Is it a common practice fro you to praise the Lord? How could you incorporate more praise in your everyday relationship with God?

According to verse 5, where do we draw our strength from? Where should our hearts be set? What type of pilgrimage are we on?

Comment on the following state from this chapter:

"I am a woman on a journey of learning how to make sure my reactions don't deny Christ's presence in me. I am a woman who says yes to God not because my emotions and reactions are always perfect. No, I say yes to God because He is perfectly able to forgive me, love me, remind me, challenge me, and show me how to weather trials in ways that prove His Spirit resides in me. I remind myself often that people don't care to meet my Jesus until they meet the reality of Jesus in my life." How does this speak to you, challenge you, and/or encourage you?

How does Psalm 84:9,11 encourage you?

What is surely in store for a woman that says yes to God?
